Survival and Self Help

Let's talk about survival.  Survival is that instinct that kicks in when you are put in a desperate situation.  It is that primal mix of fear and excitement.  There are many basic survival techniques that you use everyday without realizing it.  Often you will avoid going down an alley, or even catching yourself when you fall.  We are going to concentrate on the type of survival that are life and death.  Like growing a garden, hunting, fishing, building shelter.   Overall providing for your family if and when governments shut down, or wars break out.  You must know basic survival skills when you can't depend on a grocery store.  There are certain things that you need to know like what not to eat.  You will also need to know how to care for things medically.  There are a few real survival specialist I trust.  These guys are the know all of ultimate survival.  TheTopSurvivalistConversionProducts are designed to help the transition into survival mode.  The main thing about surviving is being prepared for any situation.  This prepares you for self-defense, power conversion, and much more.SecretsToStayingAliveAnywhereAnytime  This is also another place that is packed with survival information.  These are real professionals sharing their knowledge to better prepare the public for things that have been long for told that are to come, and with the way countries and nations are attacking each other I plan on being prepared.  Did you know that there are roots that you can eat and survive on.  SurvivingAFoodCrisis  is really everyone's fear.  If something happens to our food source what are we going to do?  Well these guys have the answers.  It is really amazing what the human body can digest and use for energy.  There will be many people who are not prepared for these things to happen.  You do not have to be one of those people.  You can prepare yourself and your family.
Alright back to some of those  Survival Foods.  This and water are the most important things to survival.  You can boil water from a river and drink it so that is pretty easy.  Food is a little different story.  Not everyone has that killer instinct that makes them a tactical hunter.  So what to do?  Learn what you can eat that is a part of your natural surroundings.  Birch, clover, currants, and pine cones are all edible plants.  You can actually roast pine cones over a fire, crack them open, there will be little edible nuts inside.  These are very full of nutrients.  You can actually eat the inner bark of birch. It is actually a very sweet and filling bark.  The sap can be collected at the bottom of the tree and can be drank.  Incredible I know.  So I tried it and it is surprising good to chew on.
